June is Men's Mental Health Awareness month. When we think of our overall health, our mental health greatly affects the whole body. Free sports physicals are scheduled to take place on May 30th from 1-5 pm. These will be held at Holmes in their family engagement room. You must reserve a time slot through the Signup Genius and complete both forms in order to receive the physical. Please see the school coaching staff, main office, or nurse for assistance with receiving the forms to get completed. This is an opportunity to be prepared for the upcoming sports seasons!

MARK YOUR CALENDAR! Flint Community Schools will be closed this Friday, May 23rd - Monday, May 26th in honor of Memorial Day. School will resume on Tuesday, May 27th.

Thank you all who were able to make it out to the sports physicals, provided by Hamilton Health Network, at Southwestern last Thursday! We will be cancelling the sports physicals for tomorrow at Holmes and will be rescheduling them for later this month. If you are an athlete you will need a sports physical to participate next school year. Please look out for more details on the new date we will be holding more sports physicals at Holmes. Remember that after signing up for a time slot that there will be two documents that must be signed by a guardian in order to receive the physical.

Flint Community Schools is offering free sports physicals to all middle and high school athletes. Athletes must have an up to date physical any time after April 15th 2025 in order to participate in any sport this upcoming school year. Follow this link to sign up for a time slot. We will be at Southwestern this Thursday, May 15th from 1-5pm and at Holmes next Tuesday, May 20th from 1-5pm. Sign up today!
